Book Falcons from Saudi Arabia by Assouline
Description
There is no more regal animal, no more majestic creature, no more symbolic species in Saudi Arabia than the falcon. These apex predators are blessed with supernatural abilities. Their speed is astonishing, making the falcon the fastest animal on the planet. The practice of falconry has ancient traditions in the Persian Gulf, and this centuries-old art is a manifestation of respect between the falcon and the falconer.
Saudi Arabia's falcons demonstrate the region's deep admiration and appreciation for this powerful creature and showcase Arabian falconry as a unique and distinctly Arab art.
