Camels from Saudi Arabia book by Assouline
Description
Imagine the deserts of Saudi Arabia. Windswept sand dunes. Sculptural rock formations. And in the distance, a camel, standing boldly in the rays of the sun. Camels, and more particularly the dromedary, or one-humped camel, are an icon of the Arab landscape. Throughout Saudi Arabia's history, the camel has been depicted in poetry, art and legends.
Camels of Saudi Arabia bridges the gap between past and present by celebrating this magnificent creature and featuring original photography by Oliver Pilcher.
